Color Bingo
Learners of all ages enjoy playing bingo, and Color Bingo will help them put to use all of their vocabulary. If you have or can find a Color Bingo game, that is great. If not, you can easily make one. Print out a blank one (easily found on the internet), get something for them to use as markers or chips on the board, and hand out one card to each student.
Also, give them markers, crayons or colored pencils in the colors that you want in your game. Put up color cards for all of the colors you want to include in the game, and tell the children to color in their boxes using the colors on the board in whatever order they choose (be sure to have them mark the center box as a free space, if appropriate. Next, start calling the colors. Kids need to mark each color as it is called, and call out, “Bingo!” when they have it. Then they need to say the colors as they check them with you. You may want to have small prizes available for the winners.
