Fun game: SORTING BEANS
This game helps children remember colors while also improving their sorting and matching skills. They are usually the easiest skills (except for those with color blindness) and many young kids can do it independently.
Educational goal is to teach children:
- to name different objects’ colors
- to sort out pictures or objects according to their colors
- to classify different objects according to their colors.
Vocabulary: red, blue, yellow, green
Sentence pattern: It is red.
Equipment: beans, colors, paper cups
How to play: Make some magic colored beans as a great resource for sorting, imaginative play and storytelling! These are so simple to make and are hugely appealing to play with.
