Fun game: SEASONS
Educational goal is to teach children four seasons.
Vocabulary: Spring, winter, fall, summer
Sentence pattern: It is spring.
Equipment: Four pieces of tree trunks (in the worksheets part), items to represent the seasons, for example: Cotton Balls & White Buttons for Winter, Brown, Yellow and Green Buttons for Spring, Green Pony Beads for Summer, Red Bottle Caps and Red Pom Poms for Fall, Green pipe cleaners for Grass, Glitter Glue & Regular Glue, Scissors.
How to play: Gather and lay out the materials, cut tree trunk for each season, lay out paper and hand the creativity on over to your child.
Learning outcome: At the end of the game, children will be able to name seasons
