Educational goal is to teach children structures of self-introduction sentences used when asking and answering questions about their names.

Vocabulary:  Hello, hi, My name is ...                                                              

Sentence pattern: My name is.

Equipment: a microphone (toy)                                                                        

How to play: Take a magic microphone and start a game with the children. Say:

Hi. What`s your name?

My name is (kid`s name).

And what`s your name?

I am (teacher`s name)

Good bye, ….

Bye …

and pass the microphone to this child. Now it`s turn to the child to repeat with any child he or she wants. Then this child passes the microphone to the next child. The game continues until every children greet and introduce themselves.

Learning outcome: At the end of the game, kids will be able to greet each other, introduce themselves and they will be aware of their friends’ names.
