Educational goal is to create opportunities for English learning, to teach how fruits and vegetables are named in English;

Vocabulary:  apple, banana, grapes, carrot, lemon, tomato, onion, watermelon

Sentence pattern:   It is an apple.

Equipment: plastic fruits and vegetables

How to play: Have all students sit in a circle. Use a plastic apple and toss it to one child. But you must say one fruit word as you pass. The child then throws to another child and says a different fruit. If the child you threw it to drops it, he/she is out. And the game keeps going until you have one winner. It can be played with different categories, such as food, animals, etc.

Learning outcome: At the end of the game, children will learn fruits and vegetables.
