Sentence pattern:   It is a cow.

Equipment: a cardboard box, pictures of animals, plastic eggs, books, puppets

How to play:  Collect different types of material representing farm animals: puppets, pictures, books, figurines, etc. Explore the material and have fun making the corresponding animal sounds with your group.

Learning outcome: At the end of the game, children will be able to name animals and pretend animal sounds.
